The Canadian actress Sarah Gadon sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry as she revealed the joyful news of her pregnancy at the premiere of the upcoming film, Ferrari.

On December 11, 2023, breaking the news via her Instagram account, Gadon shared a series of heartwarming pictures where she proudly flaunted her baby bump. 

The actress expressed, “Last night was magical at the Canadian premiere @ferrarithemovie,” alongside the pictures.

The next image showed an intimate snapshot featuring Gadon and her husband, Max Fine, as they posed together, with the expectant mother caressing her growing bump. 

Further, the actress posted the same picture with her husband on her Instagram Story and captioned it, “Mom and Dad.”

The news of their secret nuptials caught fans and media alike off guard, as speculation had been circulating about an impending engagement announcement, not a marriage. 

The wedding planners at Zola had already generated a template for the couple’s celebration, complete with bold displays of their names and crucial details about the time and location of the ceremony.

A month after the rumored wedding date, on October 29, 2022, Gadon offered a subtle but telling glimpse into her post-wedding life through a series of Instagram posts. 

The actress shared images suggesting that she and her partner had gone on a honeymoon, captioning the post with emojis of honey in a pot and the moon, accompanied by the intriguing label “pt 1.” 

Responding to inquiries about the location, the actress casually revealed that they had chosen Italy for their romantic getaway. 

On the same day, the Dracula Untold star shared a second set of photos on Instagram with the same caption featuring honey and moon emojis, but this time labeled “pt 2.”

While the details of the pair’s first encounter remain unknown, several outlets reported they met in early 2021, after Gadon’s separation from her former boyfriend Matthew Hannam.

Gadon and Hannam first crossed paths in the early 2000s on the sets of the horror movie Antiviral and started dating shortly afterward. However, they broke up in 2020.
