Dorit Kemsley Reveals Blonde Hair Was Very High Maintenance — Her Hair Transformation

Dorit Kemsley is popular for her hair transformation. Just a month ago, fans saw her with blonde hair, and recently we saw her with brunette hair.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills actress decided to dye her hair brown after keeping blonde hair for a few back years.

Talking to Page Six at her charity event, Homeless Not Toothless, she revealed the reason behind her transformation. She explained that she wanted a low-maintenance hairstyle this time.

“Being a blonde, it’s very high-maintenance. And I’m so high-maintenance as it is, I just feel like my hair should not be as high-maintenance!” the now brunette-haired actress revealed the reason behind her going brown from the blonde.

She mentioned that her “honey bronde” locks had inspired her to “explore other elements” of her style.

“My style is representative of my mood and how I’m feeling, truly. I dress myself,” Kemsley stated. “I don’t know why I take this upon myself and create more work for myself, but I’m so particular about it.”

“So, I think the brown hair for me … I wanted something fresh, I wanted something different and it felt like, ‘You know what? It’s about time,’” she added.

Thus, her new hair transformation is all set before the commencement of the RHOBH Season 15, and in this season, fans will see her in new looks.

However, fans have noticed her new look through social media handles. On February 22, 2023, Kemsley shared some photos from an outdoor picnic joined by her RHOBH co-star, and they all sat at a table outside.

In the comment section, fans expressed that they didn’t even realize Kemsley was in the photo as she looked so different. Her new brown tresses were pulled back in a high ponytail, and some fans even her to Ariana Grande.

She was flattered by the comparison, “Of course I was flattered. I mean, who wouldn’t be?” Kemsley said, adding with a chuckle, “And since we’re so close in age, I can understand how people would actually compare us!”

However, Kemsley clarified that her brown look was not inspired by Grande. “I hate to say no because she’s so adorable,” she said. “But no.”

Kemsley joined the RHOBH cast in 2016. Although she’s had many different hairstyles, fans are used to her being blonde.
