After ten years of dating, country music singer David Morris and his girlfriend Miranda Harrison got married in a dreamy, vintage-inspired wedding ceremony.

The couple exchanged vows on October 7, 2023, at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, California. The Madonna Inn, renowned for its retro elegance and kitsch, made the perfect setting for their marriage.

The venue was a “no-brainer” as it “matched the tone and aesthetic of the wedding” so much that hardly any decorations were actually needed, the couple told People.

The wedding was unique since the couple wanted it to be exciting and different for their 111 guests, which included well-known figures like Tana Mongeau and Rebecca Knox.

Beyond all the glamor and flash, the wedding ceremony was an intimate family affair that held great significance to Morris and his wife Harrison.

Remarkably, years into their relationship, their families uncovered a hidden relationship. The pair were both in the picture from Harrison’s fourth birthday celebration.

The reason was that Morris’ father and Harrison’s mother were coworkers in the 1990s, making the marriage feel fated.

Morris’s father took on the role of reader, and Harrison’s godmother served as the ceremony’s officiant. The couple’s beloved maltipoo, Lotus, escorted the newlyweds down the aisle, while Harrison’s nieces served as flower girls.

Harrison wore a strapless Katherine Tash gown that was influenced by historical fashion, while Morris wore a classic black and white suit and completed the look with a black bow tie.

Morris walked down the aisle to the ’70s love song, Willie Hutch’s ‘I Choose You,’ and met his bride at the altar to the hit song, ‘Yebba’s Heartbreak’ by Drake.

The pair exchanged their vows, both traditional and handwritten promises, sealed with a kiss and made their exit set to the romantic tune, ‘Kiss Me’ by Sixpence None the Richer.

At the reception, a treasured memory was honored when the pair danced for the first time to Neil Young’s ‘Harvest Moon.’ The song had a special place in their hearts as they had witnessed Young play this song at the 2016 Desert Trip music festival in Indio, California.

On October 18, 2023, Harrison delighted her fans once again by sharing a video of herself dancing with her nieces, and wrote, “When your sister gives birth to your twin flame.” 

Further, Harrison posted a video featuring her best friend, Lia Dorchinez, on October 30, 2023, emphasizing the role her friend played in her journey to the altar. 

“It was honestly our wedding too… ? so lucky to have my best friend @liadorchinez by my side not only on my wedding day but every step of the way to the altar. there’s just no one like her,” she expressed.
