Breese Maroc, the newest member of the Hype House, was announced dead through her Twitter account on April 3, 2023, which shocked her thousands of fans.
“Bresse did pass away, thank you for the kind words and help,” the tweet read.

However, many viewers questioned the authenticity of the news and doubted if the page was spreading false information about Maroc and if they were joking about her death.

Hype House member Breese Maroc’s death rumors debunked
After several reports suggesting Maroc’s death, the rumors got debunked after she came forward to edit the caption of her latest Instagram post.
The influencer edited her caption to “I’m not dead,” which was later updated to “Time for a nap,” indicating she is not dead.
Fans were left in confusion and wondered if the influencer had faked her death or if someone else had done it.
A fan remarked, “So wait, I’m confused. Did she fake her own death, or did someone else fake it? Either way, it’s not funny at all.”
Another fan suggested that her Twitter account “was hacked” and didn’t know what happened until a tweet about her death popped up.
Also, her Twitter account, from which the death rumors were first spread, is now either deleted or deactivated.
Maroc later took to Instagram Story to disclose that she has deactivated her only two TikTok accounts and said none of the TikTok accounts named after her are real.
