Skateboarder Bam Margera and his estranged wife Nicole Boyd’s ongoing divorce battle has taken a troubling turn after Bam made a threat in a recent emotional social media outburst.

Frustrated with the lack of contact with his son Phoenix over the past two months, Bam took to social media and publicly that he would continue smoking crack until he met his death unless he was granted the opportunity to see his son.

He said, “I haven’t seen Phoenix in two [expletive] months and I am so [expletive] fed up. I cry every day, I miss him so much and I know I have to wake up everyday knowing that I probably won’t get to talk to him or see him.”

Furthermore, the Jackass star publicly stated that he felt driven to drink by his estranged wife, as well as his mother and father, who he claimed provided discouraging remarks that undermined his self-esteem.

“I am going to smoke crack with the bums down at the boardwalk until I am dead or unless you deliver me [expletive] Phoenix,” he said at the end of the video.

In response to his public outburst regarding his struggles and alleged triggers for drinking, Boyd’s attorney, David Glass, offered a counter perspective via TMZ

Glass emphasized that addiction does not work in a way where people’s behavior directly drives others to engage in substance abuse.

He characterized Bam’s statements as a typical defense mechanism, suggesting that Bam may not have fully absorbed the lessons from his past addiction treatment.

Glass stressed the importance of taking personal responsibility for one’s actions and expressed Boyd’s sincere hope that Bam can achieve and maintain sobriety for his well-being and the benefit of their son.

According to Bam’s lawyer, Peter W. Thompson, he had not seen his son since March 29, 2023, when they had an in-person visit in California.

The skater’s attempts to communicate with his son via phone or FaceTime have allegedly been blocked by his wife.

Thompson argued that his client had been deprived of contact with his son, while Boyd’s lawyer emphasized the importance of Bam maintaining his sobriety.

Bam Margera and Nikki Boyd split in 2021

Bam and Boyd split in 2021, marking the end of their relationship. Following the split, Boyd took legal action in September of that year by filing for full custody of their son.

In her divorce filing, Boyd requested several things from the court, including $15,000 per month in child support, as well as both legal and physical custody of their son.

According to the documents obtained by TMZ, Boyd suggested that Bam could have supervised visits with their child, provided that he completes rehab for his drug and alcohol issues.

However, Bam has made efforts to persuade the judge overseeing the divorce case to dismiss it entirely, simultaneously seeking to expedite the next hearing.

Bam Margera’s brother says he’s dying from substance abuse

Bam’s brother, Jess Margera, publicly expressed concerns about his well-being in an emotional Instagram story. Jess shared his anguish, stating that his brother is “dying” from substance abuse.

The troubled star was freed on $50,000 bail after his arrest in suburban Philadelphia on late April 2023 on charges of simple assault, harassment, and terroristic threats.

I might have permanent hearing damage from bams desperate lame ass little “attack” while I was making coffee. If that’s the case all of my bands upcoming touring income he will be sued for and I will fucking win. I’m not a fun enemy to have.

Jess alleged that his brother punched him during the incident, leading to a heated social media exchange. Bam, refuting the accusations, threatened to sue his brother for defamation.
