Best Daniel Craig Movies You Should Watch

If you’re a fan of Daniel Craig, then you know that he’s appeared in some great movies over the years. From his early work in independent films to his more recent roles in big-budget blockbusters, Craig has always brought his A-game to every project he’s been a part of.

With that in mind, we’ve put together a list of what we think are the best Daniel Craig movies. So sit back, relax, and enjoy!

The Power of One (1992)

Craig made his film debut in this 1992 drama about a young boy who witnesses the brutal murder of his family during the apartheid era in South Africa. Although it’s a small role, Craig makes an impact as the older version of the protagonist, Peekay.

The Power of One is an underrated gem that definitely deserves more attention.

Love Is the Devil (1998)

This biographical drama chronicles the tumultuous relationship between British painter Francis Bacon and his muse, George Dyer.

Craig gives a haunting performance as Dyer, a former thief who descends into alcoholism and drug addiction. It’s one of his most complex and challenging roles, and he absolutely nails it.

Casino Royale (2006)

In this reboot of the James Bond franchise, Craig steps into the iconic role of 007. He brings a new level of intensity and grit to the character, and he completely owns every scene he’s in. Casino Royale is one of the best Bond movies ever made, and it firmly cemented Craig as one of Hollywood’s top leading men.

What makes the movie even more interesting is a fantastic poker scene, where Bond beats Le Chiffre at the very last moment. This has become an inspiration for a lot of online casinos. One of them is Canadian gambling website which saw a rapid surge of customers playing online poker on the platform.

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001)

In this blockbuster hit based on the popular video game franchise, Craig plays Alex West, an adventurer who teams up with Lara Croft (played by Angelina Jolie) to stop a powerful artefact from falling into the wrong hands.

It’s not one of Craig’s most critically-acclaimed films, but it’s definitely an enjoyable popcorn flick.

Layer Cake (2004)

This crime thriller follows XXXX (Craig), a drug dealer who wants to get out of the business but finds himself caught up in a dangerous situation when he tries to help a friend track down a missing shipment of cocaine. Layer Cake is a stylish and suspenseful film that showcases Craig’s talents as an actor.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)

Journalist Mikael Blomkvist teams up with computer hacker Lisbeth Salander to investigate the disappearance of a young woman 40 years earlier.

Based on the bestselling novel by Stieg Larsson, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a dark and atmospheric thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. And Craig is excellent as usual – he really knows how to play damaged and complex characters.

Skyfall (2012)

In this installment of the James Bond franchise, M (Judi Dench) is targeted by a mysterious villain named Silva (Javier Bardem). Bond must track down Silva before he can carry out his plan – but not everything is as it seems.

Skyfall is one incredible ride from start to finish – action-packed, suspenseful, and emotionally charged. Plus, it features one of Daniel Craig’s best performances as James Bond yet.

Spectre (2015)

In Spectre, James Bond receives a cryptic message from his past that leads him on a mission to uncover the truth about SPECTRE – an organization that appears to be behind some previous events in Bond’s life.

This film has everything you could want from a James Bond movie – thrilling action sequences, exotic locations, gorgeous women…and Daniel Craig at his very best.
