His birth took place during the reign of his great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and he is the third child of Prince William and Catherine (Kate), who were known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at the time.

At present, his parents are known as the Prince and Princess of Wales. He was born at St Mary’s Hospital in London, specifically in the Lindo Wing, at 11:01 BST (10:01 UTC), as mentioned by the source.

His birth was celebrated with gun salutes at the Tower of London and Hyde Park, as well as bell ringings at Westminster Abbey. On April 27, 2018, it was officially announced that the baby had been named Louis Arthur Charles.

Prince Louis is attending Willcocks Nursery for his education

In April 2021, Louis commenced schooling at Willcocks Nursery School, near his family’s former main residence in Kensington Palace. Unlike his older siblings, Prince George, who is nine years old, and Princess Charlotte, who is seven, Prince Louis,5, has had a somewhat different upbringing.

The family moved to Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor estate during the summer, resulting in a change of schools for George, Charlotte, and Louis. Initially, there was speculation that Louis might join his siblings at Thomas’s Battersea school. 

In 2017, the family made a permanent move to Kensington Palace, allowing Prince George to commence his schooling at Thomas’s Battersea. Following this, Princess Charlotte also joined Thomas’s Battersea in 2019.

On the other hand, Prince Louis was born in April 2018 when the family was already well-established in London. Although he did not have the opportunity to start formal schooling in the city, he did follow his sister Charlotte’s path.
