Daisy made her acting debut in the 1998 film Elizabeth when she was only 5 years old. She was also seen alongside her mother in The Affair of the Necklace. Daisy continued to hone her craft and gained recognition for her performances in various stage productions and independent films.

Over the years, Daisy has demonstrated her versatility through a diverse range of roles in both films and TV shows. She has appeared in both film and television, including The Woman in White (2018), a BBC adaptation of the classic novel of the same name, The Outcast (2015), a miniseries based on the novel by Sadie Jones and The Alienist (2018-2020).

Daisy Bevan suffers from an illness

At the age of 1, Daisy was reportedly diagnosed with a rare circulatory disease that affected her legs. The condition weakened the walls and valves of her veins, which disrupted the circulation of blood throughout her entire body, mostly affecting her legs. It also exposed Bevan to multiple surgeries, and the actress was constantly in and out of hospital.

Despite her health condition, Daisy wasn’t going to give up on acting. In her conversation with The Independent, she said, “It’s something I always wanted to do. I can’t ever remember not wanting to do it.”

Joely was married to film producer Tim Bevan on January 10, 1992, with whom she had one daughter. Tim is a highly successful British film producer and co-founder of Working Title Films, one of the most prominent production companies in the UK.
