Jaicy Elliot has had an incredible weight loss journey in the past couple of years.

Elliot got her big break when she scored the role of Taryn Helm in Grey’s Anatomy Season 14 in 2017. It has been over five years since she has been a part of the ABC series.

Following her journey in Grey’s Anatomy, one can clearly see her weight loss before and after. She looked on the heavier side when she first joined the series.

But now, she looks toned and has undergone significant weight loss.

Elliot lost over 10 kgs of weight in less than a year because of her diet and exercise. Moreover, she continues to maintain a healthy lifestyle and often exercises to stay in shape.

To date, Elliot has not mentioned anything regarding her weight loss before and after. However, fans have speculated that she must maintain a balanced diet and workout regime since her weight loss journey is quite visible.

Jaicy Elliot’s career

Elliot knew she wanted to be an actress from a young age. Elliot was raised with an American father and a French mother, so a diversity of cultures always surrounded her.

She immigrated to the United States at the age of 21 after growing up in Grenoble, France. Her father was a visual artist. Therefore her parents always encouraged her and her sister to be creative in all they did.

Elliot began her career at the age of 15 when she auditioned for the theatre group Upstage. She went on to get her first supporting role as Hal in The Lady Killers.

She chose to take the next step in her acting career after graduating from high school and traveled to Paris to study theatre at the famed Cours Florent. Some of the alumni of the school are well-known actresses such as Diane Kruger and Sebastian Roché. 

She studied for five years in the city before opting to go to Los Angeles to see what options were there. Elliot attributes her success to her family and early instructors, who pushed her to follow her ambition of working in the profession.

Her major break came when she was cast as intern Taryn Helm on the ABC medical program Grey’s Anatomy. Elliot also appeared in the Primetime Emmy Award-winning digital short series Grey’s Anatomy: B-Team. 

Her performance has won her industry acclaim, and she was featured on the cover of Entertainment Weekly alongside Jake Borelli, Rushi Kota, Alex Blue Davis, Sophia Ali, and Giacomo Gianniotti.

She recently starred in Romance in Style, a Hallmark movie, alongside Benjamin Hollingsworth and Candice Huffine. She played the role of Ella, whose designs inspire fashion mogul Derek (Hollingsworth) to include plus-size fashion in his magazine while slowly falling in love with Ella.
